Sarel is a no nonsense man. Direct and honest, he is interested in extracting the best from his projects and tirelessly pushing the envelope to create simple, unambiguous masterpieces.

 

He’s a natural jester, capable of coaxing the most probable and effortless performances from his cast and takes intricate care in creating his visual landscapes.

An award-winning career in advertising, including numerous Loeries and a Cannes Gold Lion, led to Sarel taking up directing in 2002. Since then he has gone from strength to strength, working with various partners and production companies, honing his skills.
